Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BI Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will support monitoring existing reports, query our data warehouse (bigquery) for ad hoc requests, and write python code to get data out of API endpoints.
The idóneo candidate will have previous experience in lead generation, especially in the legal vertical.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and play a key role in expanding our reach and impact in the mass tort industry.
Location: Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time)
Responsibilities
Build and update dashboards
Understand semantic layer (LookML, Cube)
Monitor dashboards to find outliers and inconsistencies
Work closely with other departments to investigate sources of errors and fix problems or summarize issues with data engineer
Format reporting in excel and merge data from multiple datasets with vlookup and other advanced excel functions
Write ad hoc SQL multiple table join queries to get data (MySQL and BigQuery experience)
Write clean and composable SQL code (CTE and window functions required)
Write Python code to pull data from API REST endpoints
Provide suggestions on ways to increase revenue or decrease costs from data
Document data processes and errors encountered
Qualifications
3+ years SQL (MySQL or similar)
4+ years of excel
2+ years of LookML experience
Git experience
Experience with JSON and CSV
Python or other programming experience (Nice to have)
Prefect, dbt (Nice to have)
