Full-Stack Engineer – AI‑First, AWS Bedrock, OCR, Cloud (Los Angeles)
Join OneSeven Tech (OST) as a Full‑Stack Engineer to build an AI‑powered invoice processing system leveraging AWS Bedrock, OCR, and cloud services.
Responsibilities
Design and develop full‑scale web and mobile applications that integrate cutting‑edge AWS AI services.
Build an AI‑focused invoice processing pipeline, including web UI, email‑based upload, PDF validation, and advanced validation interfaces.
Implement AI workflows for document classification, data extraction, and side‑by‑side comparison with intelligent correction suggestions.
Integrate Xero accounting with secure API authentication and intelligent invoice synchronization.
Ensure the system follows modern authentication mechanisms, secure API design, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
4+ years of full‑stack development experience with modern frameworks.
Deep experience with AWS Bedrock for document processing and AI integration.
Proficiency in OCR technologies (AWS Textract, Comprehend, agentic OCR parsing).
Full‑stack generalist comfortable with React/Next.js, Node.js / Python, RESTful API design, database management, CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Agile methodologies, TDD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
Strong communication skills in English; ability to work 9am‑5pm EST.
Bonus Qualifications
XSS/CSRF protection, Xero API integration, unit testing frameworks for AI‑integrated apps.
Performance optimization for document workflows, mobile (React Native) experience.
DevOps skills (Terraform, IaC), microservices architecture, database scaling.
Experience with additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
Benefits / Compensation Fully remote contract position with a U.S. company. Base rate $3,500–$6,000 / month based on experience and project duration. Company‑paid PTO plan.
