What You’ll Do

Provide essential administrative support to the plant Human Resources department, including administering HR policies and procedures and assisting with policy implementation. Assist with HR-related compliance audits (e.g., SMETA/SWA) and processing HR documentation, including I-9 compliance and employee records. Support employee relations by answering routine questions, providing resources through HR Shared Services (FMLA, LOA, ADA, Workday resources, HR Service Center, etc.), and assisting with routine workplace concerns. Coordinate and support facility-level employee engagement efforts, including planning and executing recognition events, appreciation initiatives, and HR-led activities to strengthen relationships across departments. Assist and/or facilitate orientation, conduct exit interviews, gather feedback, and engage with employees on the production floor to support a safe and respectful work environment.

What We’re Seeking (Qualifications)

High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with all levels of the organization and manage-up effectively. Solid understanding of Human Resources functions and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment and foster a positive work atmosphere.

Other Skills That Make You Stand Out

Previous Workday/HCM system experience (preferred). Bilingual (preferred).

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Most work is in an office setting; production areas may involve wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, moving machinery, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise level is typically moderate but can be loud in production areas. Capable of sitting for extended periods; may lift up to 15 pounds; ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands/arms as needed; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
