About the Role: The Facilities Technician at Bespoke Pharmaceuticals LLC plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the company's healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards. The technician will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted healthcare services. By maintaining the physical infrastructure, the Facilities Technician directly contributes to a safe and efficient environment for both employees and patients. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related technical role, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical settings. Proficiency in plumbing, general maintenance, and use of basic hand and power tools. Ability to comprehend and interpret technical instructions and maintenance documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measuring devices. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in facility maintenance, HVAC, or plumbing. Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment with knowledge of regulatory compliance. Training in preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Additional technical certifications related to electrical or mechanical systems. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency. Diagnose and repair facility equipment and infrastructure issues promptly to minimize disruptions to healthcare operations. Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks safely and effectively. Interpret and follow technical instructions, blueprints, and maintenance manuals to execute repairs and installations accurately. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair work to support compliance and reporting requirements. Collaborate with facility management and other departments to prioritize maintenance needs and schedule repairs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the healthcare industry. Assist in managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools to ensure availability when needed. Skills: The Facilities Technician utilizes plumbing and general maintenance skills daily to ensure all facility systems function properly and safely. Preventive maintenance expertise helps in identifying potential issues before they escalate, reducing costly downtime. Proficiency with basic hand and power tools is essential for performing repairs and installations efficiently.
