Practice Setting
- Freestanding EDs with 8 to 15 beds per site
- One physician per shift with APP support daily
- Serves both adult and pediatric patients
- No inpatient follow-up required
Schedule
- Ongoing need, work as little or as often as you'd like
- Block or PRN scheduling options, great for supplemental income
- Sites include Rockport, Portland, and Northwest Corpus Christi
- No call required
Cases and Procedures
- Full-scope emergency medicine including trauma, STEMI, OB, and pediatric cases
- Procedures include intubations, central lines, chest tubes, dislocations, and laceration repair
- Approximately 10 percent admission rate with efficient support for high-acuity patients
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with EM experience
- Active Texas license and DEA
- ATLS preferred
Travel and Accommodations
- Airfare, rental car, and lodging provided
