Job Title: Warehouse & Delivery Support Specialist Department: Flooring Reports To: Operations Manager Summary: This position provides essential internal support to the operations team—including Installers, Sales, and Administrative personnel. The role involves loading and unloading flooring products, equipment, and supplies using a variety of tools and equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand dollies, lift gates, and dock plates. While this is not a full-time driving position, the role does require operating company delivery vehicles (14’ and 26’ box trucks) to deliver materials to jobsites as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Safely handle all inbound and outbound deliveries of insulation and flooring products.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load/unload deliveries.
Coordinate deliveries and provide job site support in partnership with the operations department.
Accurately complete and process internal paperwork for all inbound and outbound materials.
Monitor and replenish stocking SKUs in coordination with division management.
Assist with monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
Help plan warehouse layout and organize storage based on turnover, weight, and usage.
Schedule and assist with special or periodic inventory counts.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications: Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
Previous experience operating a forklift; certification preferred.
Ability to safely operate 14’ and 26’ box trucks for occasional deliveries.
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
