Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Loan Operations Manager oversees the Bank's Loan Operations Group, providing essential support to the lending team. This role involves developing and implementing best practices for loan processing, servicing, and operational functions, aligned with the Bank's mission and strategic goals. The manager is an initiative-taking leader and collaborative, adept at building strong relationships across the organization. They ensure compliance with FDICIA and SEC SOX Accelerated Filer Rules, while promoting sound risk management practices in all managerial responsibilities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the Loan Operations Group, including processing, servicing, and operational responsibilities. Establish and maintain an efficient and productive working environment based on continuous improvement and effective staff communication. Achieve established departmental strategic objectives, operational goals, and budgets within defined timelines. Define and implement a measurement of acceptable staff performance and accountability to safeguard and support the Bank's lending activities. Ensure teams are cross trained with current documented procedures. Successfully interact with all lending stakeholders to improve data integrity and quality control. Conduct internal assessments and workflow reviews to ensure operational effectiveness and excellence. Establish and maintain a group maturity model and roadmap outlining a path to the future state. Develop and implement process improvements and procedural enhancements affecting assigned business units, employing business process automation and workflows. Design and ensure the implementation of FDICIA and SOX accelerated filer internal controls, ensuring their effective operation, and providing the Disclosure Committee with necessary reports and certifications on control effectiveness. Complete daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations in compliance with SOX accelerated filer standards, ensuring high level of review precision, accuracy, completeness, and diligence that align with independent auditor requirements. Prepare corporate budget, financial projections and manage profit & loss statement for areas of responsibility. Manage projects and lead change initiatives as opportunities arise. Interact with external and internal auditors, loan review, compliance reviews, and examiners to assist in Bank audits and examinations. Follow-up and correct any items addressed and ensure necessary changes or recommendations have been implemented as directed. Develop team objectives, strategies, budgets, policies, workflows, and procedures. Own and manage appropriate vendor relationships and technology solutions. Collaborate and lead stakeholders to drive value from technology and vendor investments. Work with internal technology teams and technology vendors to resolve complex system issues. Administer corporate policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for assigned functional areas. Pursuing professional development and training opportunities to ensure the Bank's environment and personal skillsets remain future-proof and forward-thinking. QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years' bank loan operations experience, preferably with an SOX accelerated filing public reporting company. 5+ years' management or supervisory experience required. Strong experience with leveraging process improvement skills to implement change and while gaining operational efficiencies. Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of

education/experience Quick technology learner and early adopter Strong organizational, project, process, and change management skills required Strong collaborative leadership and communication skills Sound judgement and decision-making responsibilities Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, team members and customers. Proficiency with related software tools including, but not limited to Microsoft 365, Salesforce, banking core, loan origination, processing, and servicing systems.
