As a Dietary Aide at High Point Residence Wood River, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to all food safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and individual resident needs Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure proper storage and handling of food Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a positive dining experience Skills: In this role, you will utilize your skills in food preparation, kitchen organization, and communication to provide high-quality dining services to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines and recipes will be essential to the success of our dining program. Additionally, your excellent communication skills will allow you to build positive relationships with our residents and their families, ensuring a positive dining experience for all.
