Job Description:
RGA Enterprise Services Company (RGA) seeks a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to provide technical solutions, tool and business mentoring in the use of the testing tools and techniques. The position reports to RGA headquarters in Chesterfield, MO; 100% telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. This position will assist with the management of the Quality Assurance and Automation testing process; work closely with software developers and automation engineers to resolve issues; develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing; participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents; establish and implement automated testing processes for application, performance, load, user-interface, object, regression and data quality; participate in the creation of and/or review of requirements and detail design documentation in any form to understand system features and begin necessary test scripting and automation; work with various teams to create, enhance and maintain the Automation Frameworks across the products; interact with business analysts, users, designers and developers to further understand the system and/or resolve systems defects; develop test plans, test cases and test scripts utilizing appropriate toolset to cover system functionality as completely as possible; ensure personal and QA Engineers' test scripts adhere to approved scripting standards and guidelines; and perform automated and manual testing, as needed. RGA's compensation package includes an annual bonus plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits. The compensation range noted below indicates that the base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. For this particular position, the offered salary is $129,750.00 and is non-negotiable.
Basic Qualifications:
The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least seven (7) years of experience as a Sr. QA Automation Tester or in a similar role involving automation testing. **Alternatively, in lieu of a bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience, the employer will accept a master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least five (5) years of experience as a Sr. QA Automation Tester or in a similar role involving automation testing.** A qualified applicant's experience must include: experience using mock API for mocking real API server and providing realistic responses to requests; experience using Datadog to monitor logs and ensure reliable, scalable testing solutions; experience using Grafana k6 Browser for UI load testing; experience using Bruno (ReadyAPI & Postman) API testing tool to automate cases; and experience writing and executing SQL statements to extract data from Databases.

Compensation Range:
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
