Home Health Aide (HHA) - Private Duty

Innovative Home Services to join our team! Pay rate is $17/per hour for opportunity to have a flexible job schedule where you can make a difference in the lives of our seniors.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a HHA:

Baths Oral hygiene Shampoos Changing bed linen Dressing and undressing clients Skin care and prevention of skin breakdown Toileting activities Medication reminders

HHA/Companion Duties May Include Amongst Other Duties As Assigned/requested

Helping with hands-off services such as: Shopping Companionship Light meal preparation Light housekeeping Laundry Home Organization

Additionally, HHA services may include hands-on care tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age. HS Diploma or GED equivalent Able to work in USA and successfully pass pre-employment screening. Patient, kind, and enthusiastic. Able to work independently. Has the ability to read and follow written instructions and document services provided. CPR certification preferred. 1-year prior experience preferred but not required.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

Has a completed a recognized Home Health Aide training program of 40 hours or has passed the IHS Home Health Aide competency test with a passing score. Current Certified Nursing Aide certification. Has a current CPR certification. Has excellent observation and communication skills. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations. Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment requirements.

Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
