Location: St. Louis, MO | Up to $75,000 Sign-On Bonus About the Role
Total Aviation Staffing is seeking an
IFR Pilot
for a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operation in
St. Louis, Missouri . This position offers a unique opportunity to combine advanced aviation skills with life-saving medical missions. Join a dedicated team that delivers critical care services with precision, reliability, and safety. Key Responsibilities
Command an
EC145 SPIFR/NVG
helicopter under CAMTS guidelines. Execute safe and efficient flight operations for HAA missions, including 24-hour rotations. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Participate in community outreach programs to promote the organization’s services. Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment as needed. Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and company safety initiatives like
Destination Zero . Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating. First Class Medical Certification. ATP certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
Flight Experience:
2,000 total flight hours
(1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter). 100 hours of instrument time (actual and hood). Night Vision Goggle (NVG) experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must meet a body weight limit of
235 lbs . Ability to lift up to
100 lbs
to assist with equipment and patient transport.
Additional Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional internal and external customer service abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Sign-On Bonus:
Up to
$75,000 . Incentives:
Shift bonuses, annual safety bonuses, and employee performance bonuses. Relocation Package:
Available with a 2-year service commitment. Schedule:
