Business Intelligence analyst with experience using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack. The ideal candidate will have experience in the full life cycle of Business Intelligence solutions. The candidate will contribute to the design, user requirements, documentation and strategic implementation of systems to be used by the teachers, principals, and staff of Denver Public Schools.

- Participate in the design of star schemas to support new business requirements.
- Using SQL Management Studio, write stored procedures, functions and other objects using T-SQL.
- Use SSIS to extract, load and transform data.
- Use SSRS to develop self-service reports.
- Troubleshoot existing applications as necessary.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Microsoft BI stack.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SQL Server: Must have very strong T-SQL skills and an ability to write complex SQL queries. Can independently build tables and objects according to design specifications. Is comfortable and familiar with Management Studio.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS): Has experience in SSIS 2008 or 2012. Can design and build efficient load solutions and individual packages. Can read existing packages and modify as business requirements change. Understands incremental load logic and slowly changing dimension loads.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS): Has experience in SSRS 2008 or 2012. Can design and build clean and efficient self-service reporting solutions. Can troubleshoot and modify existing SSRS reports as needed. Is comfortable and familiar with best practices in the reporting space (parameterized reports, the use of CTE"s etc.).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with KPI's / KRI's: Experience in developing and implementing Key Performance and Key Risk Indicators within the BI framework.
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
