The Opportunity Responsible for providing financial, credit, and trend analysis for the delivery of the bank’s credit products and services to middle‑market and other business clients.

Monitors assigned credit relationships for covenant compliance, collateral monitoring, and credit deterioration.

Conducts annual reviews of loans and identifies risk rating changes.

Works independently from sales teams to structure and evaluate credit requests and recommend credit decisions to Credit Administration.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Independently evaluate and structure lower‑complexity credit requests, including asset‑based lending, term loans, and commercial real‑estate loans.

Perform credit analysis and risk assessment of new and existing credit requests, preparing analysis of financial statements and third‑party reports such as property appraisals.

Collaborate with Relationship Managers to draft loan documents prepared by external law firms or in‑house counsel.

Recommend credit actions by preparing the Credit Approval Report (CAR) for final decisioning.

Work with Loan Administration to obtain due diligence information, perform risk rating reviews, and monitor covenant compliance.

Review Letters of Interest (LOI) to ensure consistency between loan documents and the CAM.

Make joint customer calls with RMs to assess clients’ needs, business, and management teams.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.

Maintain knowledge of appraisals, borrowing base reports, and collateral exams.

Complete Problem Loan Status Reports (PLSRs) with guidance from management.

Identify and monitor risk ratings under the bank’s Risk Rating Policies.

Demonstrate integrity, respect, and commitment to the organization’s values and regulatory compliance.

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; formal credit training preferred.

Strong understanding of lending, cash flow and collateral analysis, and loan structuring.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations (Regulation Z, B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA, PATRIOT Act, AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA).

Familiarity with the bank’s Loan Policies and Standards.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Advanced math skills and ability to compute interest, ratios, and percentages.

Effective organizational and time‑management skills.

Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Decision‑making ability with moderate impact on work units and cross‑functional teams.

Strong analytical writing skills.

Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.

Capacity to work autonomously and manage complex problems.

Ability to present informally and formally to internal and external audiences.

Salary Range The base salary will be determined based on education, experience, and industry knowledge, aligned with market data and other factors.
