We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Development Project Manager - Retail to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will lead intricate construction and tenant coordination projects throughout a diverse portfolio, from concept through completion. This is a chance to make a significant impact on small-shop and anchor tenant buildouts. Key Responsibilities Direct the landlord and tenant design, permitting, and construction process to ensure timely delivery of spaces while adhering to lease obligations. Oversee multiple construction projects concurrently, skillfully balancing scope, budget, and schedule across a variety of property types. Act as the primary communication link among tenants, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to promote collaboration and efficiency. Review leases, plans, and construction documents with a keen eye to ensure compliance with design standards and project timelines. Lead budgeting, contracting, and delivery of landlord work obligations while coordinating closely with leasing, legal, and asset management teams. Employ proactive problem-solving techniques to address design and construction challenges effectively and maintain project momentum. Compile and present project status reports and financial updates for senior leadership, highlighting progress and areas of concern. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in project or construction management, with a robust background in retail tenant coordination. Demonstrated success in managing multimillion-dollar projects and negotiating effectively with contractors and tenants. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proficient in interpreting leases, architectural drawings, and cost reporting. Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or similar project tracking tools is advantageous. Willingness to travel to project sites within the region and periodically to corporate offices.
