Irvine, CA (onsite). Monday through Thursday onsite, Fridays remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Stealth AI Project team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Test Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, focusing on both functional and non-functional testing, such as performance and security. Test Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with the QA team and other stakeholders to create and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies that ensure quality. Test Execution:
Execute automated test suites and monitor test results. Identify, isolate, and document defects, and work closely with the development team to facilitate their resolution. Test Environment Setup:
Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they accurately simulate the production environment. Continuous Integration:
Integrate test automation scripts into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to enable automated testing as part of the development process. Quality Metrics and Reporting:
Collect and analyze quality metrics and provide regular reports to the project team to inform decision-making. Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and data scientists, to ensure the quality of the AI solution at every stage of development. Documentation:
Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and automation scripts. Stay Current:
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation and testing to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in QA automation, with a focus on testing backend, databases, AI and machine learning systems. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar. Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with testing natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision systems. Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms. Certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
