We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
- Verify orders, label packages, and prepare items for shipping
- Utilize forklifts to load and unload shipments
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using forklifts for material handling
- Experience with warehouse management systems such as AS400
- Ability to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and shipping
- Prior experience working in a distribution center is a plus
