Role Overview:
In the role of Senior Strategist at Protobrand, you will be integral to providing strategic insights and guidance tailored to clients' brands and their target audiences. Your deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes will empower clients to navigate their business challenges effectively. This position demands proficiency in brand strategy frameworks and consumer research methods, alongside a talent for translating complex data into strategic recommendations. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds as strategic planners, brand consultants, or strategy consultants and possess hands-on experience in consumer research. You will report to the SVP Growth Strategist and collaborate closely with clients and team members to implement impactful strategies that foster business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Consultation:
Connect with clients to grasp their business objectives and challenges.
Provide strategic consulting through insightful and well-crafted deliverables that guide client goals, strategy, and planning.
Build and maintain robust client relationships that promote satisfaction and repeat business.
Contribute to proposals and engagement strategies to attract clients.
Tackle client feedback to enhance service delivery and satisfaction.
Research and Insight Development:
Collaborate with researchers to design and execute comprehensive market research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Analyze data to extract pivotal insights that influence strategic choices.
Storytelling and Strategic Recommendations:
Create engaging narratives that transform data into actionable insights.
Formulate customized strategic recommendations that align with client objectives and research findings.
Work with clients to ensure recommendations resonate with their business strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams, including research, to ensure timely and impactful client deliverables.
Reporting and Presentation:
Develop compelling reports and presentations to convey insights and strategies to clients.
Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively, employing visualization tools as appropriate.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Humanities, Marketing, or a related field; consumer anthropology is advantageous.
5+ years in a market research, planning, or strategizing role within consumer research or brand consulting.
Solid understanding of market research methodologies in Brand Development, Marketing Communications, and Product Innovation.
Familiarity with frameworks used by brand managers for brand strategy definition.
Outstanding analytical skills and writing proficiency for crafting strategic narratives from data resulting in actionable suggestions.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Capable of working independently and within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills, adept at juggling multiple projects effectively.
