About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Data Scientist to build and operationalize advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities that directly support security missions. You will work closely with mission analysts, engineers, and operators to convert complex data into actionable intelligence, predictive insights, and measurable results.
This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of the entire data science lifecycle, from data exploration and model development through secure deployment and continuous improvement. You will combine strong analytical expertise with engineering discipline to deliver reliable, mission-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement analytical models and algorithms that drive mission outcomes
Develop and deploy production-grade machine learning pipelines in secure, operational environments
Collect, process, and analyze large, diverse datasets to uncover trends and improve decision-making
Build and automate end-to-end data workflows that support continuous delivery of insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into technical data solutions
Enhance system reliability through model monitoring, validation, and performance reporting
Present analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and operational audiences
Required Qualifications
Active
TS/SCI clearance (with Full Scope Polygraph)
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience applying data science and machine learning to real-world operational or mission-focused challenges
Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Experience with SQL and distributed data processing tools such as Spark or Dask
Solid understanding of statistics, model validation, and data governance principles
Proficiency with Linux environments and Git-based version control systems
Proven experience deploying analytical solutions securely and at scale
Nice to Have
Familiarity with R or Julia for advanced statistical analysis
Experience using cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI
Knowledge of MLOps practices, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Background in natural processing, computer vision, or time-series analysis
