Responsibilities Work in a diagnostic imaging department with both fixed and portable X-ray machines and a CT suite Perform routine and emergent radiographic and CT imaging procedures Schedule covers four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotation of weekends and call Patient population includes those requiring scheduled and urgent diagnostic imaging Images are processed and managed using PACS Responsible for assisting patients with CT contrast administration Ensure image quality and patient safety following ALARA principles Complete exams per radiologist protocols and document results in the EMR Rotate weekends and call coverage as scheduled Participate in equipment quality control and patient safety procedures Provide customer service to patients and healthcare staff Requirements Current and active R.T.(R)(ARRT) certification required Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT technologist preferred Demonstrated proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation safety, and anatomy License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626324.
