About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our team at Northern Montana Specialty Medical Center, a Rural Health Clinic located in Havre, MT. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services to a diverse patient population, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases and conditions. This role is crucial in ensuring access to high-quality eye care for our rural community.
What you\'ll do
Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose various eye conditions.
Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and laser procedures.
Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.
Qualifications
Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
Valid medical license to practice in Montana.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to serving underserved populations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
