Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a IT Helpdesk (Contract) for an opportunity with a client located in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities: Providing phone-based IT helpdesk support to internal users Supporting walk-up and meeting room technology needs during assigned rotations Troubleshooting hardware issues (laptops, desktops, peripherals) Supporting software and system access (O365, Teams, VPN, VDI, MFA, Active Directory) Documenting and managing tickets in ServiceNow Collaborating with team members and business partners across departments Requirements: An Associate's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience Previous experience in a technical support or help desk role Certifications like ITIL or CompTIA certifications can be beneficial Knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify root causes of technical issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when interacting with users Ability to manage multiple support requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems
