CEO / Executive Leadership Team CTO Job Overview : GST is seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology vision and execution, serving both internal operations and external client engagements. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee the development and implementation of a robust internal IT strategy while acting as a trusted advisor to clients on IT vision, strategy, security, and compliance. The CTO will bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology solutions and practical business outcomes, ensuring alignment with GST's goals and our client needs. Key Responsibilities : Technology Leadership :

Define and execute the company's internal IT roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems to support business operations and growth. Infrastructure Oversight :

Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, and enterprise software, to ensure reliability and performance. Security & Compliance :

Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, disaster recovery plans, and maintain our compliance frameworks (ISO27001, NIST800-171, CMMC L2) to protect company data and systems. Team Management :

Lead, mentor, and grow the internal IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Budget & Vendor Management :

Oversee IT budgets, evaluate technology investments, and negotiate with vendors to maximize ROI and operational efficiency. Digital Transformation :

Drive the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) to enhance internal processes and productivity. External Client-Facing Responsibilities (70%): Strategic Advisor :

Partner with clients to develop long-term IT strategies that align with their business objectives, providing thought leadership on technology trends and solutions. Vision & Innovation :

Articulate a compelling technology vision for clients, translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans that drive competitive advantage. Security Consulting :

Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to safeguard their operations. Compliance Guidance :

Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) relevant to their sectors. Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and technical expert. Solution Development :

Collaborate with sales and product teams to design tailored technology solutions that meet client needs and enhance service offerings. Vendor Management :

Partner with GST's leading vendor partners to advise and sell technology solutions and services. Digital Transformation :

Drive the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) to enhance internal processes and productivity for our clients. Qualifications : Experience :

10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior IT position (e.g., CTO, VP of IT, or similar). Experience in both internal IT management and client-facing consulting is highly preferred. Technical Expertise :

Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cybersecurity, software development, and enterprise systems. Security & Compliance :

Proven track record of implementing security protocols and achieving compliance with industry standards. Leadership Skills :

Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and inspire technical and non-technical audiences. Client-Facing Acumen :

Exceptional communication and consulting skills, with experience advising C-level executives and translating technical strategies into business value. Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred. Certifications :

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL) are a plus. Strategic thinking and problem-solving Ability to balance internal operational needs with external client demands Expertise in risk management and cybersecurity Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset Adaptability to emerging technologies and market trends
