Network System Administrator
to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
Set up, configure, and maintain cloud services, including virtual machines, storage solutions, databases, and networking resources. Monitor and optimize cloud usage to control costs by rightsizing resources and implementing cost-saving measures. Use cloud monitoring tools such as SolarWinds to track the performance, availability, and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Continuously monitor system and network performance using dashboards, logs, and alerting tools to proactively detect and resolve issues. Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure, including physical servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and network equipment. Install, configure, and administer networking hardware such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls. Manage and maintain core infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate services. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure reliable WAN/LAN operations across all locations. Implement and manage solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Plan and execute upgrades to hardware, software, and firmware components to keep infrastructure current and secure.
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration, network administration, or related IT roles. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure services (VMs, storage, networking, Azure AD). Strong working knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate services. Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points). Proficiency with infrastructure monitoring platforms, with a preference for SolarWinds. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. Experience managing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Proficiency with scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred). Experience applying security patches and updates to systems and network devices. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate CompTIA Network+ or Security+ Cisco CCNA VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
