The Village at Gleannloch Farms is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Medication Aide to join our team! Registration with Texas HHS CMA registry required.
Status: Full-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday (2pm-10pm)
Salary: Starting at $17.00 per hour
You Are Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
* Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. * Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. * Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. * Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed. * Answer signal lights promptly. * Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly * Works as a member of the team. * Gets along well with co-workers. * Accepts change in a positive manner.
We Are Excited About You Because You…
* Registration with TX HHS CMA registry required. * Successful completion from a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. * Successful completion of State approved Medicine Aide Course. * Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. * Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) * Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards * Respectful and compassionate * Good time management skills * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * Strong ethics * Physical endurance * Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression. * Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors. * Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
