Job Description
The Regulatory Counsel will play a critical role in supporting Epiq's legal and corporate governance functions. This is a high-impact position ideal for a strategic thinker with deep experience in corporate law, governance, and legal operations. Key Responsibilities
Advise executive leadership on corporate governance and disclosure obligations. Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to support legal compliance. Oversee the drafting and review of legal documents and internal communications. Support strategic transactions, including M&A and financing initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely legal support. Manage relationships with external counsel and auditors. Monitor and interpret evolving legal requirements and advise on their impact to the business. Assist with the administration of equity compensation plans and governance frameworks. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant time at a law firm and / or in-house legal department. Strong business acumen, excellent judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SOX compliance, ESG disclosures, and executive compensation matters. Familiarity with legal issues in the legal services or technology sectors. Compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000 annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
