Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue
Summary
This role is an individual contributor position that will serve as the subject matter expert for revenue accounting, partnering cross‑functionally with Contracts, Sales, Operations, and Program Management. The analyst will leverage the company’s Oracle Fusion Revenue Management system to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant revenue reporting across the company’s defense technology portfolio.
Primary Success Factors
Consistently applies ASC 606 guidance to complex defense contracts with precision and accuracy.
Maximizes the functionality of Oracle Fusion Revenue Management to streamline revenue processes and resolve exceptions efficiently.
Demonstrates strong ability to interpret contract terms, identify performance obligations, and ensure proper revenue allocation.
Builds effective cross‑functional partnerships with Contracts, FP&A, Program Finance, and Operations to support compliant revenue practices.
Delivers accurate and timely revenue schedules, reconciliations, and close activities under tight deadlines.
Maintains organized, well‑documented support for all revenue transactions to withstand internal and external audit scrutiny.
Identifies and implements process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation within the revenue cycle.
Position Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, company policy, and U.S. GAAP.
Review and interpret contracts, statements of work, and modifications to assess revenue treatment, including performance obligations and allocation of transaction price.
Operate as the functional expert for Oracle Fusion Revenue Management, maintaining data integrity, processing revenue events, and resolving system exceptions.
Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for monthly close.
Partner with Contracts, FP&A, Program Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure contract terms are aligned with accounting guidance and appropriately captured in the system.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue analysis.
Assist with preparation of revenue‑related disclosures for external reporting and audits (internal, external, DCAA/DCMA).
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve revenue processes, leveraging automation and Oracle Fusion capabilities.
Serve as a point of contact for auditors on revenue‑related matters.
Stay current with evolving revenue recognition guidance and industry best practices, particularly within defense contracting.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Minimum 8+ years of finance experience required within the Aerospace and Defense / Technology field.
Strong background in revenue recognition within the defense industry.
Experience with project accounting required.
Experience in a public company.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Revenue Management or similar ERP revenue modules strongly preferred.
Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting practices and FAR/DFARS environment a plus.
Demonstrates competency working cross‑functionally and influencing others through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Range For This Role Is $108,275 - $153,615
