NetChoice is a trade association that works to make the internet safe for free expression and free enterprise. For over two decades, NetChoice has advocated on the pressing tech issues of the day, including internet taxes, speech on social media, data privacy, competition, the peer‑to‑peer (sharing) economy, and use of drones and e‑scooters. We have a reputation for being fast and strongly assertive with our viewpoints. In many ways, that separates us from other trade associations. Candidates are expected to be keenly interested in the intersection of tech and government, a policy area that is only growing in importance. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The Member Relations Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with NetChoice member companies, coordinating project reporting and invoicing, tracking deliverables, and identifying new growth opportunities through current or potential members. The ideal candidate is organized, persuasive, and energized by helping members see the value of NetChoice’s work. This role has an estimated annual salary range of $85,000 to $150,000 and comes with employer-sponsored healthcare benefits. Responsibilities:

Serve as leading liaison to NetChoice member companies, providing regular updates and prompt responses to inquiries. Track and manage deliverables for individual member-funded projects. Lead on all member invoicing, dues tracking, and bookkeeping associated with membership. Manage CRM or internal tracking systems to record member interactions, priorities, and issues. Identify opportunities to upsell members into new projects or higher levels of engagement. Support efforts to recruit new members by identifying promising leads, organizing introductory conversations, and maintaining contact databases. Create regular reports and presentations that show members the impact and value of their investment. Collaborate with policy and communications teams to ensure member concerns and priorities are integrated into NetChoice’s work. Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Work: 4+ years of professional experience in account management, business or non-profit development, fundraising, membership relations, or external affairs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with professional and executive audiences. Experience managing client or member relationships and ensuring timely fulfillment of deliverables. Must be supportive of free market principles and interested in the intersection of technology, policy, and business. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a trade association, membership organization, public affairs firm, or policy nonprofit. Experience with fundraising, pitch decks, or cultivating sponsor or donor relationships. Familiarity with tech policy or the regulatory landscape for internet companies. Experience managing collaborative reporting processes across teams.
