Jobs via Dice This position is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and embedded operating systems in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle. What You Will Be Doing
Develop Embedded Software Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Technology: Embedded Software Language: C++ OS: VxWorks and/or Embedded Linux Critical Skill: Embedded C++ Must have interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Desired Skills
Multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming Hardware/Software integration Algorithm Implementation Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams Working in large code base Design patterns GitLab Full software life-cycle development Scrum Safety Critical Software Why Join Us
