Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Laundry
Position: Outside Sales Representative – Commercial Laundry
Location: Chicago, IL (travel up to 50% weekly as needed)
Overview The Field Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to close in the assigned territory. You will develop and implement Go-To-Market plans to grow a profitable customer base and achieve sales quotas, collaborating with the Sales department and support teams to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction in line with the company vision and values.
What you’ll do
Demonstrate and apply professional selling skills, product knowledge, and industry knowledge
Develop an annual business plan with the Regional Vice-President of Sales to meet or exceed sales quotas
Source and develop client relationships and referrals
Sell consultatively and present solutions aligned with the WASH Value Proposition
Build relationships with property owners and decision-makers
Create and present proposals and RFP responses that address customer needs
Maintain ongoing contact with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Assist in implementing company marketing plans
Local travel up to 50% weekly
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience
Understanding of pricing and proposal models
Strong closing skills to increase market share and profitability
Proven track record of meeting sales quotas
Understanding of customer and market dynamics
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience signing new business and growing a customer base is preferred
Prior experience in the multifamily laundry industry is desirable
Negotiation skills a plus
Willingness to travel extensively and work in a high-performance culture
