About Children In Harmony Children in Harmony (CIH) is a global, non‑profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to provide the tools and resources youth need to make their voices heard through music‑making, emotional learning and community engagement. CIH creates safe spaces for children and youth to embrace music‑making and creative expression as a way of exploring emotional health. We believe helping young people understand and effectively communicate emotions is essential to helping develop resilience and the skills needed to navigate complex situations and a changing world. Through our flagship program,

The Amani Project , we integrate Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) into music education, strengthening emotional intelligence, confidence, and community connection. Since 2017, CIH has reached thousands of youth worldwide and is soon launching in the U.S.

Position Overview Children in Harmony (CIH) seeks a Programs & Engagement Manager (Consultant) to lead implementation of its flagship program, The Amani Project, and advance community engagement initiatives. This is a contract‑based position for an experienced nonprofit program manager or arts educator with strong outreach and facilitation skills, with potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
