Responsibilities
Consult with and take rental orders from clients.
Coordinate equipment needs to fulfill customers' rental orders.
Responsible for rental equipment inventory control; work directly with the Dallas Rental Operations Center (ROC) on inventory issues.
Directly supervise 1–4 employees, Rental Coordinators and Rental Drivers on daily tasks, including coordinating rental deliveries and pick‑up schedules, maximizing staff efforts, cleaning and testing equipment, and ensuring daily plans align with ROC expectations.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
Provide top‑knock customer service to all BearCom customers, including equipment application troubleshooting and invoicing issues after the rental sale.
Keep the General Manager involved in attaining rental revenue goals.
Lightly market BearCom rental services at local events and happenings in the office territory.
Plan and install equipment for customers' rental needs.
Program rental equipment.
Ensure all equipment shipped to customers exceeds the minimum standard of functionality, cleanliness, and proper BearCom branding.
Record and invoice rental orders.
Keep the Branch General Manager abreast of rental business and issues.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in operations management and/or sales.
Strong sense of urgency; issues must be dealt with swiftly, effectively, and efficiently.
Attention to detail; precision is imperative.
Ability to work under pressure; the role is time‑sensitive.
Strong communication and people skills; manage daily interactions with customers, branch personnel, and ROC.
Product knowledge from on‑the‑job training; ongoing retention is vital.
Teamwork; facilitate collaboration with the General Manager, sales team, other rental coordinators, and ROC.
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Drug screening and background checks, including a Motor Vehicle Record check.
