The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
Minimum Requirements
Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required
3 years of fast-paced ED experience
Hiring for three Emergency Room RN positions located in a Level IV Trauma Center, Each position includes every other weekend rotation, no on-call, and a travel package for candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility. Local pay available.
Positions
Day Shift – 4×10s, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift – 3×12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Mid Shift – 3×12s, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

35 ED beds + 6 fast track rooms
Teaching hospital | Advanced Stroke Center | Level III NICU
Patient mix: Neonate to Geriatrics, trauma, mental health
Charting: EPIC
