Overview
Infusion Nurse PRN - Salt Lake City at Nira Medical. The Rocky Mountain MS Clinic is seeking a PRN Infusion Nurse to join our team and deliver patient-centered care. The clinic is recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care by the National MS Society. Our infusion center is staffed with a team of neurologists and BSN/MS-certified RNs, dedicated to keeping a high standard of care for patients. Key Responsibilities
Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, and responding to emergency patient needs. Demonstrates exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgment, and the ability to multi-task. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations. Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required. Exhibits well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients. Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules and regulations. Education And Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required. One year of current nursing experience required; two years preferred. One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills, and emergency patient care, preferred. Active, unrestricted nursing license in state of practice. BLS certification required. Benefits
