We are a premier off-premises catering company serving the Southern California luxury events market since 1986, known for creating elevated dining experiences for weddings, corporate galas, nonprofit fundraisers, mega multi-day catering events and private social events. Our growth strategy focuses on building elite partnerships with venues and top event planners, while capturing high-profile RFP-driven corporate and institutional events.
We are seeking a highly experienced Catering Sales Executive with proven success in driving new business through venue relationships, event planner partnerships, and strategic RFP event management.
Key Responsibilities
Venue & Planner Partnerships Develop, nurture, and manage high-value relationships with Southern California’s top event venues, hotels, and event planners. Actively prospect new venue partnerships and maintain exclusive and preferred vendor status at strategic locations. Sales & Business Development Drive revenue growth by securing large-scale, off-premise events (weddings, corporate galas, nonprofit fundraisers, film industry activations, etc.). Respond to and manage complex RFPs (corporate, entertainment, institutional) with compelling proposals and presentations. Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Client Experience & Account Management Act as the primary liaison from initial inquiry through signed contract, ensuring seamless communication with clients, planners, and venue teams. Partner with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution. Market Leadership Represent our brand at networking events, industry associations, and trade shows to build visibility and pipeline opportunities. Stay informed on Southern California event trends and competitive catering landscape. Qualifications
5–7+ years of proven success in off-premises catering sales within the Southern California market. Strong portfolio of venue and planner relationships with a track record of repeat, referral, and preferred vendor business. Demonstrated ability to secure and manage large-scale RFP-driven events ($100K+ revenue per event preferred). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in proposal writing and presentations. Strong organizational and negotiation skills; detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly self-motivated. Existing membership or involvement in industry associations (ILEA, NACE, WIPA, MPI, etc.) is highly desirable. Capable of handling a large book of business month to month. What We Offer
