We are currently seeking a

Senior Electrical Studies Lead

proficient in both transient and steady-state studies applicable to high-voltage substations, transmission networks, and distribution networks, for our US operations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsibilities

Manage and train a team of engineers to complete complex transient and steady-state studies for utility interconnections, renewables, HVDC and data center projects. Conduct and oversee transient and steady-state studies using tools such as ETAP, SKM, PSSE, CDEGS, or PSCAD. Prepare detailed analyses, including load flow, short circuit, Arc Flash, grounding, TOV, Corona, EMF, induction studies, harmonic analysis, and equipment coordination. Develop clear, comprehensive, and professional study reports. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to enhance team performance. Review and contribute to proposals, estimates, and deliverables based on client Request for Proposals (RFPs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives regarding cost, quality, and time are met. Monitor project progress and provide updates, including percent completion and Estimated Time to Complete (ETC) estimates. Suggest process improvements and contribute to project close-out reviews. Support business development activities and attend conferences on behalf of Tetra Tech. Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, including significant experience with electrical studies for high-voltage systems. Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or eligible to register. Demonstrated expertise in preparing studies for high-voltage substations and transmission/distribution networks. Demonstrated expertise in preparing studies for renewable energy systems. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration, client engagement, and reporting. Experience with HVDC projects is an asset. Experience with Data Center projects is an asset. Life at Tetra Tech

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000.
