Job Description Special Metals located in Princeton, Ky. provides Nickel-based Extruded Powder Alloy for Military and Commercial Turbine Applications. The Brighton MI facility offers Vacuum-Melt Atomizers, Lathes, and Equipment for Complete Billet Processing and Certification. Essential Job Functions

Supervises staff to produce manufactured products, organize and monitor workflow.

Coach, train, counsel, discipline employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Operations management (production schedule, releases, deliveries, product quality assurance).

Contribute to team effort, resolve personnel problems, by investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending actions.

Manufacturing directs and coordinates plant operations-based policies, objectives, and programs spanning manufacturing functions.

Determines performance and product quality and has direct accountability for that performance.

Ability to connect with the workforce to build lasting teams and relationships.

Education and Qualifications

Manufacturing shop floor experience required.

5 plus years supervisory experience preferred.
