Job Description
We are seeking a committed and proactive HSE Engineer to support our upcoming project in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, while promoting a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout all project stages.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with company and client requirements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and corporate HSE guidelines.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety analysis to mitigate potential incidents.
Carry out site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
Organize and deliver HSE trainings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to enhance safety awareness among personnel.
Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve HSE-related issues effectively.
Monitor and analyze HSE performance data, prepare regular reports, and recommend preventive measures for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science , or a related discipline.
Minimum
5 years of relevant HSE experience
in
oil & gas, EPC, or construction
projects.
Solid understanding of
OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
standards and implementation practices.
Strong competency in
risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems .
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors across teams.
