Texas Health Huguley and Texas Health Mansfield offers a flexible staffing alternative for RNs on a temporary basis for an assignment with a maximum duration of 10 weeks. Assignments may be extended per original assignment terms but cannot exceed 12 consecutive months total at any one location/facility.
Position and Hourly Rate: Registered Nurse (RN) - $60/hr.
Travel Bonus: none
Internal AdventHealth employees: If transferring to the SWRSS team must be committed to working one 13-week contract, before returning to a fulltime role. Contracts are not guaranteed and time without pay may occur in between contract assignments.
a. Internal AdventHealth employees transferring to SWRSS cannot do their first contract at their home/primary facility. Prior AdventHealth employees cannot do their first contract at the prior home facility within 13 weeks of the term date.
b. In this case, Adventhealth Central Texas or any AdventHealth outside of Texas would be eligible to apply.

The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit and managing related clinical activities. This position supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Additionally, this role utilizes nursing skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide competent, compassionate, and cost‑effective care. In addition, this position collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the administration of the medical and nursing plan of care in compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities for this role include contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare team.

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.
Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.
Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
Associate’s of Nursing Required
Licensed in the state of Texas or qualifying compact state
Registered Nurse (RN) Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
