The HPC Technical / Functional Expert will design, maintain, configure, optimize and provide advanced‑level support to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of HPC systems. Responsibilities
Provide advanced‑level troubleshooting, tuning, and support for HPC infrastructure and associated applications, including Nagios, xCAT, failover software, and compilers. Support distributed computing environments utilizing RES, LSF, and SLURM workload managers. Administer and support high‑performance parallel file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement best practices for system performance, resource utilization, and fault tolerance. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Required Skills
10 years’ experience in a large, complex IT environment providing functional expertise. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Experience with HPC MPP systems. Experience with enterprise Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat and SUSE. Security Clearance
A current government clearance (background investigation and polygraph) is required. Pay Range
$49,996.80 – $290,004.00 Benefits
