Manufacturing Engineer - Battery, Drive Unit We are seeking a

Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer (Chinese & English)

to join our team in Newark, CA. In this role, you will apply core engineering principles to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and production layout. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze workflows, implement process optimizations, and ensure adherence to engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Study time, motion, methods, and production operations to establish standard production rates and enhance efficiency.

Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas to determine and maintain quality and reliability standards.

Review and verify documentation such as worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets for quality compliance.

Assist in planning and scheduling work assignments in line with machine capacity, performance, and anticipated delays.

Prepare and maintain charts, graphs, diagrams, and workflow layouts to illustrate routing, material handling, and machine utilization.

Collaborate with management and engineering teams to implement process improvements and resolve manufacturing issues.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

Skilled in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and related engineering software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Highly detail‑oriented and collaborative team player.

Ability to create engineering sketches, perform technical computations, and visualize process improvements.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required).

5‑7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production engineering.

Proven track record of process optimization and quality assurance in a production environment.
