Radiation Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic oncology team in Louisville, KY. The Radiation Therapy team provides patient-centered, compassionate care using state-of-the-art technology. Based in the Charles and Mimi Osborn Cancer Center, the program offers advanced radiation and medical oncology services, including a high-volume outpatient infusion center. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols.
Operate and maintain Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators safely and effectively.
Perform CT simulations using our Philips CT scanner, ensuring accurate patient positioning and treatment planning.
Utilize Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) with Vision RT to optimize patient setup and treatment precision.
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members to provide coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
Certification as a Radiation Therapist qualified in Radiation Therapy (RTT) through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
State license through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBIMRT).
Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators preferred.
Familiarity with Philips CT simulation and SGRT (Vision RT) technology strongly preferred.
Comfort with modern radiation therapy workflows and patient setup using SGRT.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
New graduate Therapists encouraged to apply.
