Senior Hardware Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in Qualcomm-based hardware platforms and a solid background in board-level design, validation, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and validating complex embedded hardware systems used in high-performance computing, automotive, or consumer electronics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and validation of digital and mixed-signal hardware systems.
Work on Qualcomm SoC-based designs, including schematic creation, PCB layout review, and component selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing) to ensure seamless hardware integration.
Perform hardware bring‑up, board‑level debugging, and signal integrity testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
Review and optimize power, thermal, and EMI/EMC performance of designs.
Drive DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) improvements.
Support production test development and failure analysis during NPI and mass production.
Document hardware design processes, design reviews, and test results.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in hardware design and validation.
Proven hands‑on experience with Qualcomm SoCs (Snapdragon or automotive platforms preferred).
Proficiency in schematic capture tools (e.g., Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, Altium).
Strong understanding of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB, MIPI, DDR, and Ethernet.
Experience with power design (DC‑DC converters, PMICs) and signal integrity analysis.
Knowledge of board bring‑up, hardware debugging, and rework.
Experience supporting manufacturing test setups and yield improvement at the plant level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in or with Qualcomm manufacturing or test plants.
Familiarity with hardware validation automation (Python, LabVIEW).
Understanding of firmware‑hardware interaction and embedded system integration.
Experience in automotive‑grade electronics or consumer device platforms.
