Overview We manage deal structuring, due diligence, closing, and provide financial operations to GIC’s private equity, infrastructure, and real estate assets. The role focuses on finance, accounting, reporting, and investment operations across private markets in the Americas.
Department Investment Services Private Markets – Deal & Asset Finance Team.

Role Summary Assistant Vice President in the Deal & Asset Finance (D&AF) team. Serve as the investment finance controller, supporting the Private Markets portfolio across the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Investment Teams, Transaction Managers, Tax, Legal, Capital Markets Team, and external advisors.
Provide financial and operational inputs on holding structures, funding, cash repatriation and accounting/valuation considerations.
Oversee organization and maintenance of the investment holding platform, including corporate secretarial and financial reporting.
Partner with operations team to fulfil all operating requirements, liaising with banks on funding guidelines.
Manage financial due diligence and review findings, purchase price adjustments during investment, divestment, and restructuring.
Monitor key financial controls for asset operations, coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance.
Analyse surplus cash from investments and spearhead cash repatriation initiatives.
Conduct and evaluate market valuations for private investments, delivering actionable insights on market value fluctuations and returns analysis.
Work closely with the Americas Team Lead on finance improvement initiatives and advanced analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy or equivalent; CPA qualification preferred.
5–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–4 years in audit or transaction advisory from a Big‑4 or equivalent.
Strong understanding of deal closing mechanisms.
Excellent team player with interpersonal and analytical skills.
Proactive self‑starter with strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Strong communication skills to articulate complex investment structures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in Portuguese preferred.
