$76,190.00/yr - $110,593.00/yr Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Procedures Corroborates patient clinical history with the procedure, ensuring no contraindications and documenting information for use by a licensed practitioner and HIPAA disclosures Position patients with appropriate hearing protection and immobilization techniques (age-specific) Apply MR safety principles to provide an MR-compatible environment for diagnostic procedures Position patients to best demonstrate anatomical areas of interest, respecting patient comfort and safety Select imaging coil and operate MR equipment according to established protocols Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper identification is recorded Prepare, identify and/or administer contrast media under Radiologist direction and department protocol Provide instruction for patients, students and/or healthcare professionals Maintain patient confidentiality and apply guest relation skills Ensure scan room and control room are stocked with necessary items Maintain communication with technologists and lead technologists Train new staff to meet department requirements Take on Lead Technologist and PCT roles when those positions are vacant Maintain a clean and safe work environment Required Qualifications

Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) or registration as a Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT). First attempt within 6 months; up to 3 attempts within 18 months MRI Registry eligible; Certification and Registration via ARRT or ARMRIT. First attempt within 6 months; up to 3 attempts within 18 months Cross-trainer Candidates (certified in XR, CT, US, ND) must pass MRI board within 2 years of hire Reasonable experience in diagnostic radiography Desired Qualifications

Recent hospital-based MRI experience MRI advanced imaging and research experience Epic experience IV experience Work Schedule

Every Weekend (Sat/Sun) 7p-7a Location
