Job Summary
Reporting to the Section Leader, the Radiologic Technologist uses ionizing radiation to produce images of tissues, organs, bones and vessels that assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required. Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training. Experience:
Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred. Licensure and/or Certification:
Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required. Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required. Seniority level
