About This Opportunity
We are seeking a
Proposal Coordinator II
to help Cascade's Customer Engagement team deliver high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals to meet company sales goals. The role follows detailed checklists to coordinate the entire RFX*-based sales process from opportunity assessment through proposal development, interviews, contract negotiations, and handoff to the delivery team. The Coordinator can expect to coordinate approximately eight active proposals at any given time. *RFX = Request for Proposals, Qualifications, Information, etc.
This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid role located in Portland, OR. Minimal travel anticipated.
Responsibilities
Own the full proposal cycle for mid- to large-sized sales efforts and innovative proposals; help develop Strategy to Win documentation for significant/critical sales efforts.
Conduct research and outreach required to draft initial RFX response and coordinate with subject‑matter experts for input as needed.
Facilitate and draft initial responses to post‑proposal requests including presentations, follow‑up questions, and revisions.
Facilitate communications and maintain organized records during contract negotiations; proficient at reading and interpreting contractual documents and managing redlines.
Support compilation and transfer of relevant materials and information to program delivery team.
Contribute to the team's high‑quality written proposals by proofreading proposals and collaborating on proposal efforts.
Regularly monitor inboxes and check websites for relevant opportunities.
Qualifications Required :
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years’ experience writing and editing proposals, grants, or other business development content.
Preferred :
Experience working with energy efficiency programs.
Must attach two writing samples
relevant to this role.
