Overview Razorfish is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This is an analytics, research, and consulting team that delivers data-driven insights to our clients. Each member of the team is aligned to one or more client and works closely with other Data Science team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as Client Management, Strategy, Search, Social, Media, User Experience, and Technology. Core areas of focus include applications in measurement planning and strategy, customer segmentations, testing frameworks, measurement and optimization solutions, performance reporting and analyses, personalization, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

Be the lead data analyst for internal and external client project work and manage data team responsibilities within cross-capability workstreams.

Understand paid media channels and how they interact in a full-funnel marketing mix, as well as their impact on website experiences.

Execute in-depth analyses of channel performance and test and learning initiatives.

Own elements of the data process such as syntax and taxonomy management.

Collaborate cross-functionally with media planners, strategists, and activation teams for reporting, forecasting, and test design and setup.

Manage dashboard build and maintenance to ensure data accuracy across data and dashboards.

Own client readouts, measurement requirements, and QA of performance data across reporting outputs.

Qualifications Analytics

Ability to identify and focus on key issues and objectives based on internal team and client needs with oversight.

Effectively describes outputs and approach of analysis to internal audiences and clients.

Ability to own sections of learning agendas and measurement plans.

Design and analyze results of test and learn initiatives across key campaigns and tactics.

Execute frequent ad hoc and recurring data pulls to support ongoing business needs, creative testing, and campaign optimization.

Consistently demonstrates ability to synthesize implications (“so whats?”) from analysis and refine approach.

Communication Skills

Is an active listener and thoughtful communicator within internal and client discussions.

Raises questions based on data trends and patterns, explores hypothesis on causation.

Has ownership of own materials and able to answer questions logically and appropriately.

Participates appropriately in meetings, developing confidence in offering ideas and suggestions.

Begins to play leadership role in team discussions and is more comfortable voicing alternatives appropriately (supported with facts).

Able to independently create sections of client documents with minimal guidance in addition to leveraging pre-existing templates.

Takes comprehensive meeting notes with clear next steps for individual owners.

Has the ability to transform data into visually appealing presentations and able to adapt new formats as necessary.

Client Engagement

Contributes to meetings with internal and external clients and can prioritize work to meet internal and external client deliverables.

Can identify when a request should be completed by the data team.

Understands how to document and respond to client feedback and recognizes when to elevate issues.

Questions and output reflect deep knowledge of client’s business – financials, industry economics, competitive dynamics, marketing channels, and client strategic issues.

Tools & Techniques

Proficiency in Excel and Tableau; experience with Google Campaign Manager and social platform data tools.

Shows mastery of multiple data tools and platforms and techniques.

Mastery of statistical concepts and coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

Ability to assist in all aspects of vendor assessments.

Proactively identifies own learning gaps and seeks to answer them through internal resources or asking experts.

Experience building and working within BI/Visualizations tools (Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint).

Compensation Compensation Range: $72,390 – $109,480 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
