We are seeking a skilled

Back-End Developer

to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services for our products in Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable APIs, optimizing database performance, and ensuring robust application architecture. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about coding, enjoys solving complex problems, and has strong experience in server-side technologies. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain

server-side applications, APIs, and microservices . Optimize application performance and ensure

scalability, security, and reliability . Design, implement, and maintain

databases , including relational (SQL) and NoSQL systems. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Write

clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 3–7 years of experience in

back-end development

with a strong portfolio of projects. Proficiency in

programming languages

such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#. Experience with

RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC . Strong knowledge of

databases

(SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills in

English ;

German or French

is a plus. Experience in Swiss or international development environments preferred. What We Offer
