Job Description
What you’ll do : Digital Solution Advisor (dSA) is a customer-facing role mapping product capabilities to requirements of prospects to support value messaging and articulate how SAP is uniquely positioned to deliver their desired outcomes (with a specialization in the nuances of digital sales techniques). DSAs serve as domain experts and spokespersons for designated solution or product segment. DSAs are responsible for integrating SAP knowledge with modern digital sales methodologies, ensuring effective communication of product value and facilitating tailored solutions proposals for clients.
Responsibilities
Area 1: Deal Support
- The Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist elevates SAP’s presence in potential engagements. Responsible for executing and crafting presentations that communicate the advantages of SAP solutions. Collaborates with VAT teams to weave customer pain points into narratives highlighting SAP differentiators. Utilize reusable digital assets to optimize for volume and no-touch/low-touch transactions. Drive discussions with potential clients to ensure SAP offerings align with their requirements. Provide expert knowledge of SAP solutions and customer success stories to establish credibility. Use virtual tools for impactful remote presentations. Provide vital support in RFx completion and sustain involvement post-sale to ensure successful client transitions and preparation of narratives for pivotal events and key presentations.
Area 2: Demand Generation
- Lead webinars and collaborate with Marketing and Demand Generation teams to shape strategic messaging. Help craft content and ensure campaigns and materials address core challenges of the target market.
Area 3: Digital Content for customer facing Situations
- Curate and innovate digital content aligned with solution insights and market trends to address complex customer scenarios.
What you bring
3-5 years of professional work experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution and/or architecture advisory role 2-4 years of relevant SAP BTP and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience in a customer-facing role Expertise with Business Data Cloud (BDC) and related components (Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, Databricks) Functional knowledge of S/4HANA applications and/or optimization of business processes that leverage SAP BDC is desired Strong understanding of data warehousing industry trends and proven ability to present to all levels in a customer’s organization Strong understanding of data warehousing industry leaders and competitive differentiators Viewed as a solution expert and trusted advisor with a track record of success Strong executive presence and storytelling skills
