Mainframe Developer
Company: CS Solutions, Inc.

Job Description
Develop, maintain, and modernize critical mainframe systems.
Collaborate with business users and technology partners to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure stability and efficiency of core applications.
Develop and support batch and online processes; analyze business requirements; participate in the full SDLC; troubleshoot and optimize performance.
Document system processes and modifications.
Provide expertise in troubleshooting and debugging complex mainframe system issues across various applications.
Integrate new solutions and enhance existing applications, including data migration support.
Technical Qualifications
Proficiency in mainframe languages: COBOL, JCL.
Database concepts: DB2, IMS DB/DC.
Experience with CICS, VSAM, IBM MQ, and other mainframe‑specific tools and utilities.
Performance tuning and DevOps practices.
Optional: Additional languages such as Assembler, CICS, or other relevant tools.
Strong business analysis skills and experience developing technical specifications.
Ability to design efficient and scalable solutions.
